Project Description

community netball

Specialist Netball physio treatment available at Mingara, Ettalong and Umina.

N

etball is an incredibly popular sport, with over 900,000 people playing it each year (89% female). The sport has unique physical challenges – it is fast, involves jumping, changing direction and stopping rapidly – and therefore needs specific insights to ensure injury risk is minimised and performance is optimised!

Fortunately, we have a great team of practitioners who can help you with exactly what you need to stay on the court and play your best, or to get you back if things ever go wrong and you incur a netball injury.

6S PHYSIO has been sponsoring the Woy Woy Peninsula Netball Association for several years now. We’ve provided physio and exercise science students to assist with strapping and first aid on weekends, and our physios have helped players prepare for games and repair and rehab if injuries occur.

Our dedicated Netball Physio – Tim Healey – has been involved with WWPNA for several years now, and is a trusted and well-liked local physio who will have you back on your feet, bouncing on your toes with confidence!
